Currently we used Blind Peer Review Mechanism. This implies that the reviewers do not know the origin (author ) of the manuscript he/she is reviewing. As such the name of the author(s) or institutional affiliation does not influence the work. It gives room for thorough and objective, unbiased assessment of the manuscript.
However subsequently we shall continue with Double Blind Peer Review Mechanism. This is when two reviewers who do not know themselves work on the same paper making different contributions to the paper.
The process is that the details of the authors are removed before sending the work for review.
The difference between single blind and double blind is that two reviewers are involved in double blind but one reviewer is involved in the single blind peer reviews.
